1. Introduction

DROPINE MEDIA LLC ("we", "us", or "our") develops and operates the mobile game Mimic Party: Voice Challenge (the "Game" or "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Game and our related websites or services.

We are committed to transparent, privacy-respecting practices. We do not sell your personal data or trade your voice recordings to data brokers or advertising networks.

2. Current Build (v0.1.0 Internal Testing Track) Data Practices

In the current release (version 0.1.0), the application functions as a localized party game challenge. The following safeguards strictly apply to this build:

  • User-Initiated Microphone Access: The microphone permission (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO) is accessed exclusively when you explicitly tap to start a recording turn. There is zero background audio recording.
  • 100% On-Device Audio Processing: All vocal imitations you record are processed, stored, and replayed strictly on your local device.
  • No Audio Uploads: Audio recordings are NOT uploaded to external cloud storage, servers, or third parties.
  • Temporary Local Storage: Audio recordings reside only in temporary application cache storage on your phone and can be cleared at any time.
  • No Multiplayer Audio Sharing: In v0.1.0, your recordings cannot be heard, broadcast, or shared with other players.
  • No Custom UGC Upload: Players cannot upload custom sound effects or external media in this build.
  • No Advertising SDKs: The app contains zero advertisements, zero advertising trackers, and zero ad network SDKs.
  • No In-App Purchases: There are no digital purchases, subscriptions, or financial transactions.
  • No Analytics Tracking: No user-level behavioral tracking or analytics frameworks are active in this build.
  • No Player Account Creation: No user registration, password, or Firebase Authentication accounts exist. Gameplay operates with a local guest profile stored in local device storage.
  • No Server-Side Voice Scoring: No Cloud Run or external AI audio scoring engines process your voice in this build.

3. Future Releases (Clearly Labelled as Future When Enabled)

Future production releases of Mimic Party may introduce synchronized online multiplayer and acoustic similarity scoring. If and when these features are launched in later updates:

  • Multiplayer Room Audio: In private room matches with friends, short vocal clips may be transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) to secure cloud storage solely to facilitate playback among room participants and calculate round similarity scores.
  • Ephemeral Retention: Any cloud-processed audio clips in future multiplayer versions will be subject to automatic, strict expiration and deletion (e.g. within 24–48 hours).
  • Advance Notice: This Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data Safety declaration will be updated before any build incorporating cloud audio transmission is released.

4. Information We Process

Depending on your interaction with Mimic Party, processed information is limited to:

  • Local Preferences: Audio settings, sound volume preferences, and local nickname stored strictly on-device.
  • Support Communications: If you email our support team directly, we receive your email address and message contents to assist with your request.

5. Children's Privacy

Mimic Party is designed for general audiences (teens and adults, ages 13 and older). We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately so we can promptly delete it.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Because local gameplay recordings reside in temporary device cache, you can delete all local data at any time by clearing the application cache/storage through your Android device settings or by uninstalling the application. 7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as features evolve. Any material changes will be announced by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy and publishing the revised version on this website.
